別看thing很常見很簡單，其實它的用法有很多哦！
今天的小詞大用就來聊聊thing的用法！
1.
things
財產(chǎn)；（個人的）所有物，用具；成套物品
Let me help you clear away the tea things (= cups, plates, etc. that are used for having tea).
我來幫你收拾茶具。
2.
the real thing真事；真品，非贗品
The fire alarm goes off accidentally so often that when it's the real thing (= when it really does happen) nobody will take any notice.
火災(zāi)報警器常常瞎響，到時候真的著火時發(fā)警報也沒有人會注意了。
3.
a thing or two
一些事情；些許知識，一星半點
She thinks she knows everything about raising children, but I could tell her a thing or two (= some information she does not know).
她覺得自己對于養(yǎng)育孩子樣樣精通，不過我倒可以讓她見識一二。

幾乎發(fā)生的事
The car just missed the child but it was a very close thing.
